MAP and MAF sensors

The first thing I had to do was wire up a map (manifold absolute presure)tha uses a 5v input and a earth after i wired this up i had to measure the return voltage from the third wire.I used a mity-vac to apply vacuum to the map sensor.I fond that the more vacuum u apply the more the voltage drops.I made a graph of this.

the map sensor is serviceble and matches the manufactures specs because it within range on all the results i got.A map sensor read preasure not vacuum.The map sensor gives the ecu information about the manifold presure this information is used to work out the air mass flow rate wich works out the requierd fuel

MAF sensors
we did did not actuly do the experiments on the maf sensor because there was non availible.
The maf sensor(mass air flow sensor) is used to find out the mass of air entering the fuel injection.There are two comon types of  maf sensors they are:vane meter and hot wire
