injector testing

in this task i had to get 4 injectors to test.the first test was testing the resistance first thing was geting the manufacturers specifications the way i did this was on the injector there are some numbers wich is the part number,i put the number in at google and it came up with specifications and it show me that the resistance specification is 13.5 for two of same ones and 13.8 for other two same ones.the next test was the winding resistance measure with a multimeter result was 13ohm for the one and 14 for the other.the next test i had to do was a earth leakage test and and wasnt earth leaking.I had to wire up the injector to check if it clicks if it does it works. The first thing to do is to get a wire from the positive of the supply and a wire from the negative that has to go onto the plug that has two pins one for positive and one for negative. There are some other engine problems that could give same result as an injector not firing for example sparkplug faulty or the distrubuter wires are shorting. After testing the injectors we had to clean them. When removing fuel injectors from engine you have to make sure to remove residual presure from the system before removal. We used a injector cleaner to clean them its a machine you put the injectors in top of cleaner wire them up,then there is options for u how to clean them like flushing them.It can also pulse like it would in a car and u can change the rpm for faster pulse. The specification for the injector flow rate of my injector was 192cc per minute.
I tested all four my injectors and got a result of:
spray patern:all four good
flow rate:all four good
injector leakage:all four good
none of these injectors require atention

The injector cleaner we used is similar to the one above.I got this image of a webside called gut motorsport http://www.gutmotorsport.net/
after all the tests i did on my injectors i found that all the injectors i used is in good condition and reuseable.
